Mademoiselle Privé at Saatchi Gallery has been an exhibition - tribute to the creativity and the genius of one of the historical figures of the international fashion: Mademoiselle Coco Chanel, irreverent, charismatic, controversial and extremely tenacious and modern in her life and business. A wonderful opportunity to be fascinated by the beauty and emotions that Chanel continues to suggest us, even today.
I visited the exhibition in a memorable autumn day and with pleasure I share my photos and video.

This is the report of my visit. I describe each room and what I saw.
Mademoiselle Privé alla Saatchi Gallery (13 ottobre - 1 novembre 2015), è stata una mostra - tributo alla creatività e alla genialità di uno dei personaggi storici della moda mondiale: mademoiselle Coco Chanel, irriverente, carismatica, controversa, estremamente tenace e moderna nella vita come nel lavoro.
Un' occasione imperdibile per lasciarsi affascinare dalla bellezza e dalle emozioni che Chanel continua, ancora oggi, a suggerirci.

Questo è il resoconto della visita.Vi descriverò ogni stanza e ciò che più mi ha più colpito.
La prima stanza è una ricostruzione fedele dell'atelier di Chanel al numero 31 di Rue Cambon, le fans impazziscono nel vedere la celebre scalinata con gli specchi e i cappellini realizzati da Coco.
Then I get an app for my smartphone that allows me to see extra contents: very interesting, I begin with opening a closed door, the office of Mademoiselle!
Poi scarico una applicazione che mi consente di vedere dei contenuti extra: molto interessante, inizio con aprire una porta assolutamente blindata, quella dell'ufficio di Mademoiselle!
I enter a dark room: a luxurious necklace of crystals is expertly lit and it inspires a magical atmosphere.
Entro in una stanza buia: un lussuoso collier di cristalli è illuminato sapientemente e si crea un'atmosfera molto suggestiva.
Now I find myself in an enchanted place: the room in which the secret essences are blended to give life to the famous perfume, symbol of the Maison, Chanel N.5. This is an olfaction experience cleverly orchestrated by a game of lights, colors and vapors. I'm amazed!
E poi mi ritrovo in un posto incantato: la sala in cui le essenze segrete si mescolano e danno vita al celebre profumo simbolo della Maison: Chanel N.5. L'esperienza è olfattiva, sapientemente orchestrata da un gioco inedito di luci, vapori e colori. Si resta a bocca aperta!
Another scenario, I am in a French-style garden. A labyrinth made by moss stands out on the white walls, there is a fresh scent of grass that invites to relax. The hedges intertwined remember a drawing that Chanel had seen as a child in the orphanage and that inspired the famous logo with the crossed C and some decorations for her creations.
Altro scenario, adesso sono in un giardino in stile francese. Un labirinto fatto di muschio si staglia sulle pareti bianche, c'è un fresco profumo d'erba che invita al relax. Le siepi intrecciate ricordano il disegno che Chanel aveva visto da bambina in orfanotrofio e che le ispirerà il celebre marchio con le C incrociate e decori per le sue creazioni.
An endless queue of people is formed in a large and dark room, we are about to enter in the hall of diamonds. During the wait we can admire precious and impalpable clothes, that - thanks to a trick of the light - seem to float in the air like ghosts.
Una fila interminabile di persone si forma in uno stanzone buio, stiamo per entrare nella sala dei diamanti ma intanto inganniamo l'attesa ammirando vestiti preziosi e impalpabili che, come fantasmi, grazie a un gioco di luce, sembrano fluttuare nell'aria.
The space dedicated to jewelery is also in darkness, only the dazzling diamonds reflect a pure light. The mannequins show reproductions of jewelry that Mademoiselle designed in the '30s "Bijoux de Diamants". Fabulous accessories, out of time, are worn by the stars of the moment in some giant portraits that cover a wall of the hall and this aspect shows the actuality relevance of Chanel's creations.
Anche lo spazio dedicato ai gioielli è immerso nel buio, solo gli sfolgoranti diamanti riflettono una luce purissima. I manichini mostrano riproduzioni di gioielli che Mademoiselle disegnò negli anni '30 " Bijoux de Diamants". Accessori da sogno, fuori dal tempo, sono indossati, nelle gigantografie che tappezzano un'ala della sala, dalle star del momento e rivelano l'attualità delle creazioni di Chanel.
And Mademoiselle back to life, in the emblematic short film signed by Karl Lagerfeld. He imagines to meet the ghost of the woman and engaging in a lively discussion about her accomplishments. Chanel is played by a formidable Geraldine Chaplin and the little movie theater is packed.
E Mademoiselle torna in vita, nell'emblematico cortometraggio firmato da Karl Lagerfeld che immagina di incontrare il fantasma della donna e d'intavolare un'animata discussione sul suo operato. Chanel è interpretata da una formidabile Geraldine Chaplin e la piccola sala cinematografica è gremita.
Finally there is a section for the symbols, named "totems", of Chanel's brand: they are the pearls, camellias, the ears of corn, the chains of the bags, the red color, the black and white, the crossed C etc. I proceed in a labyrinth of white canvases on which shadows of girls who are dressed by the famous fashion designer appear.
Infine c'è una parte dedicata ai simboli, i totem, della casa Chanel: ovvero le perle, le camelie, le spighe di grano, le catenelle delle borse, il colore rosso, il bianco e il nero, le C incrociate... procedo in un labirinto fatto di teli bianchi su cui compaiono ombre di ragazze che vengono vestite dalla celebre stilista.
I'm in the shop and I have to buy the Chanel biography entitled: "Coco Chanel the legend and the life" by Justine Picardie. A very interesting book, so through the voice of the author, that of the same Chanel and that of people close to her, it is possible to reconstruct the story of a woman who, through ups and downs, lights and shadows, has always believed in herself, had very clear what she was getting and she found a way to assert her independence and create a legend.
Mi ritrovo nello shop e non posso fare a meno di comprare la biografia di Chanel dal titolo: "Coco Chanel the legend and the life" di Justine Picardie. Un libro che mi sta appassionando, perché attraverso la voce dell'autrice, quella della stessa Chanel e le testimonianze di persone a lei vicine, viene ricostruita la vicenda di una donna che, tra alti e bassi, luci e ombre, ha sempre creduto in se stessa, aveva ben chiaro il suo punto d'arrivo e ha trovato il modo (e il coraggio) per affermare la sua indipendenza e creare il suo mito.
