Holland park and Kensington gardens

If you want to spend an afternoon outdoors and take amazing pictures, I suggest you to visit two parks close together.

That are located in a trendy, fashionable area, known for its victorian buildings, nice shops and excellent restaurants.
At the first, we visit Holland Park: this is my favourite.
It's different from other city parks because it appears wilder: it contains an extensive woodland and supports a surprising range of mammals, birds and insects.

The place is quiet and in the middle there is a little gem: a well-kept japanese garden, called Kyoto Garden, really relaxing.
The first time I went there, I felt I was in Japan for a moment!

This is a perfect place for peace and contemplation. You can admire trees, a pond with fish (koi carps), a small waterfall, a wooden bridge and many elegant peacocks.

Another charming place in the heart of royal London, is Kensington gardens: nice for a romantic walk!

If you want, you can rent a bike at the entrance. The gardens are lovely with fountains, serene landscaping and gorgeous flowers.

During the walk you will see: the Princess Diana memorial fountain; the statue of Queen Victoria; the statue of Peter Pan; the Henry Moore arch... but at the end I suggest you to have a high tea at the Orangery: it's a wonderful experience to taste delightful food and the service is special.
